SHOP THE LOOK
It’s that time of the week again, my weekly style diary! Wahoo!
How amazing is this top!? Weekday Clothing are killing it right now!
If you haven’t heard of Weekday they are a fashion brand that are stocked by ASOS and they are influenced by Scandinavian style. They always have the most up-to-date and on trend, modern pieces; I can’t get enough of them at the moment! Basically they are the bomb! I am a sucker for anything unique, I am not too fussed about following current trends, I will dip into pieces I love; but it is all about those special, individual finds for me. Also when you step away from trends in favour of unique clothing, it makes your wardrobe a little more timeless! (And fun!)
This top is very netball-vest-esque ha! Which may explain why I was drawn to it, as I do lean towards anything with a sporty vibe to it. This top is really flattering, the vertical stripes elongate the body, which is slimming and it has a very straight cut that hangs away from your body; so it is ideal if you want to hide any lumps or bumps. The colour blue is so perfect and vibrant but teamed with the white block stripes, it makes the piece less daunting to wear.
If you follow me on [Instagram] then you may have seen me upload an outfit featuring a super oversized green Tshirt. That piece was also by Weekday and I love it! Definitely check them out for unique clothing, they are seriously underrated and pretty affordable!

I teamed this Weekday top with a pair of ASOS Florence straight leg jeans in a washed black colour. I saw these on ASOS’ new in section and I just adored the cut. They are slightly cropped and are a really structured pair of cut offs. They go so nicely with ankle boots; when your jeans go over the boot slightly it gives a really put together look. Alternatively you could opt for some navy culottes and black sandals or a pair of mid-wash blue denim jeans and white trainers, which would look really cool too.
I want to keep my text in these posts, talking about the outfit and brands I am wearing, and styling ideas. I am going to be creating more topical posts in my new ‘Fashion Edit’ section soon, so if you have anything you would like to see me talk about on there; please do leave a comment as I would love some suggestions!
